What happens to a deceased persons jewelry and clothes they are wearing after an autopsy?
I know the pathologist removes the clothes but what about the jewelry? Also what does the pathologist do with these articles? Do they bury the person in them or give them to a family member?Um.. Barbie, I would never take my own life. My mother passed away. Thanks for the good wishes but you were under the wrong assumption which is pretty offensive.
Do you have to remove all body jewelry before having a CAT scan?
I'm getting dental implants and they ordered a cat scan beforehand.. and i was wondering if i had to remove my earrings, nose stud, or bellybutton ring..i know its not part of being scanned im just curious. or ive heard rumors of tattoos affecting the scan...if so,is it okay if i wear a plastic nose stud instead? id rather not take it out for the whole scan and have to re pierce it again.Thank you
If i have a keloid on my industrial piercing and i try the aspirin treatment, can i leave the jewelry in?
I've had my keloid industrial piercing for about 3 years now and i have tried the tea tree oil treatments but no luck. And I've heard about the aspirin treatments but how do i do the treatments? Do i leave my jewelry in while doing the treatments and for how long? Also are there any other effective treatments that have helped anyone else? The keloid itself has grown and is pretty embarrassing, i just want it to go away without having to get injections.
Does a blue mark on your skin from metal jewelry indicate anemia, or is this normal?
I just took a necklace off and noticed a blue line where it was touching my skin all day. I have not noticed any other signs of anemia such as fatigue or dizziness, and I'm wondering if this is normal or if the line might be an indicator that I am possible anemic. Thanks for your help everyone, I'm just being cautious because I'm a serious runner and my season is about to start... something like anemia could ruin it unless I take action now.
What do you do if your nose piercing seals over the jewelry?
I have gotten a nose piercing about 5 days ago. And it all went well, no problems at all, respectable piercer, clean shop, everything. I have cleaned it, inside and out with saline solution. But when I went to school, fake piercings are all the rage amongst 6th grade girls and some guy decided that it wasn't real, so he could punch scratch it out of my face. Is that what caused it sealing? It looks like some odd bump, that I just noticed this morning Monday, December 12 , and I've triedto push it up, from the inside, but nothing has worked. Any suggestions? Thank you soooo much

Is it possible for jewelry to have the skin grow around it?
I have a cartilage piercing. The jewelry itself was kind of short but it was never uncomfortable. Tonight I touched it a realized there was a bubble around the backing. I took my piercing out and squeezed it a little and it popped with blood coming out. It must have happened just a few days ago because I don't remember it being like this even last night. Is it possible for the skin to attach itself to jewelry like an earring it was a simple stud if left in for a long peroid of time? What can I do to make sure it doesn't get worse?
Do you have to remove jewelry when getting wisdom tooth pulled?
I.e a nose ring? Mine is still healing and idk what a mouth has to do with a nose.
Should I wear medical i.d. jewelry to identify myself as asthmatic?
Do people with asthma do this? It never occurred to me to do this, but almost a year ago, I did have a severe asthma attack which led to respiratory failure and a two week hospital stay . At that time, someone was with me who gave my medical history to the EMS crew and hospital personnel. What if I am alone somewhere and I have another severe attack and cannot speak? Can I assume all breathing problems are treated the same and if I end up needing emergency help, they'll figure it out?

What jewelry should I use during sex with a Prince Albert piercing?
Will a captive bead ring tear? If I use a ring, do I have to turn it or anything? Which feels best for me and her and what positions? My biggest fear is the thing tearing out, so should I wear a curved barbel or what? Thanks
How do I treat skin discoloration caused from jewelry?
I recently replaced my normal steel nose jewelry with a plastic retainer for a job interview. Prior to this, I had a perfectly healed nostril piercing. It looked wonderful. The plastic caused a reaction that caused discoloration on part of my nostril. I know it's from that because I replaced it with the steel again after extensive cleaning and the swelling that had also been present diminished, along with a fair amount of the discoloration. However, some still remains. Since I have no insurance, I made it a point to make sure to call my doctor. It's not an infection. The symptoms of one are no longer present if there was one at all. Now it's just that dark coloring. I'm very pale and the color is more of a tannish kind of flesh color now. I can be thankful for that because at least it is not red anymore.I've been steaming it with a hot compress which seems to help a TON, but does anyone know of anything else I can do? I wouldn't even mind this if it was on my ears or other piercings on my body, but of course it has to be on my nose where everyone can see it.Thanks so much, guys
Does stainless steel jewelry help with arthritis?
It sounded to me like a scam to me, but I have heard testimonial evidence for stainless steel jewelry. Does anyone know of any legit research on this? How does this work?
Jewelry burns after getting it cleaned, soaked in alcohol and it still burns.?
My wedding rings were cleaned by Zales and have burned given a rash to my skin since I've had them cleaned they did not burn or give me rashes before getting them cleaned and I wore them almost 24 7 for a year . I've used several different types of cleaners and soaked them in alcohol and nothing helps, I still get the burns and it's been several months. Is there anything else I can do to help clean my rings so they no longer burn my skin?
