Does American Eagle jewelry contain lead?
Someone gave me some really nice necklaces from there yesterday but I'm wondering if they contain any lead since they're made in China. Has anyone tested theirs read online somewhere that they do?Thanks a lot in advance Chloe fyi no I do not plan on chewing on it, but if it is directly on the skin it can get into your bloodstream and is toxic. I'm fairly certain no jewelry is required to have lead, it's supposed to be the other way around actually, but thank you for your answer anyway.
Does a blue mark on your skin from metal jewelry indicate anemia, or is this normal?
I just took a necklace off and noticed a blue line where it was touching my skin all day. I have not noticed any other signs of anemia such as fatigue or dizziness, and I'm wondering if this is normal or if the line might be an indicator that I am possible anemic. Thanks for your help everyone, I'm just being cautious because I'm a serious runner and my season is about to start... something like anemia could ruin it unless I take action now.
Will changing my tragus jewelry too often cause bumps?
I get it changed at piercing studios so everything is clean. And I do sea salt soaks 2 times daily. Also my piercing is 9 months old.
Is it possible for jewelry to have the skin grow around it?
I have a cartilage piercing. The jewelry itself was kind of short but it was never uncomfortable. Tonight I touched it a realized there was a bubble around the backing. I took my piercing out and squeezed it a little and it popped with blood coming out. It must have happened just a few days ago because I don't remember it being like this even last night. Is it possible for the skin to attach itself to jewelry like an earring it was a simple stud if left in for a long peroid of time? What can I do to make sure it doesn't get worse?
Unhappily getting medic alert jewelry for the first time, but need advice from professionals?
I had an anaphylactic reaction to penecillin, ibuprofen, aspirin and lidocaine out of the blue ten years ago when they were all administered to me at once by a dentist.I have been pretty irresponsible about the sutuation since as far as carrying anything on me that indicates this. I am uneasy about wearing anything that identifies me as weak or vulnerable, especially because I'm already a small person.I have a few questions about medic alert jewelry 1 Would anyone think to look for a medic alert anklet or those shoe tags you slip onto your shoelaces? They seem like a much more discreet option, but if they would probably go unnoticed, I wouldn't get them.2 Should the jewelry have abbreviations for my allergies or the whole words for the medications that i can't have spelled out? Should it mention that I carry an epipen?3 I saw bracelets that look nothing like medic alerts on a website. For example, leather cuffs with the little cross thing stamped into the leather on the front and medical info stamped onto the back. Would medical workers look at anything I wear on my wrist, neck, shoes, etc enough to notice it was a medic alert? I wear a ton of rings and other jewelry, so that might be a task.Any info is helpful, because I don't know much about this and I'm doing it rather grudgingly, with the knowledge that it's the responsible thing to do. I'd rather get something that looks nothing like a medic alert, or is concealed, such as on my ankle, but if that's a bad idea, I guess I'll just do what I should. Ugh.Thanks in advance

I've had a piece of jewelry since I was eight, and have recently lost it. How do I not flip my sh*t?
It had a lovely golden or rather, previously golden it had become mostly silver over the almost decade I'd had and constantly worn it chain and a custom made line of colored glass arranged to look like a rainbow for its dangly bit. It was a cheap thing, only something like twenty dollars I still loved it more than any single piece of " fancy" , " real" jewelry my grandmother had ever and has ever shown me.I wore it all the time, and took it off to cosplay with a friend for a few hours. Like an idiot, I stuffed it in my back pocket. I've since checked everywhere, and am ninety nine point nine percent positive it's not going to be found. It's too small of a thing to put lost posters up for, and even if I did the odds that someone would have picked it up are slim to none we weren't exactly in the " best" of areas .I'm well aware of the fact that the necklace isn't something " important" , like money or an irreplaceable photo of a loved one or a credit card, but damn if it wasn't important to me. I've had it for so many years, and have worn it almost constantly since I started highschool. And I do mean almost constantly. I wore it under the costumes of plays, and in my suit during swimming competition.s For gods sake, I showered in the thing. I even DREW myself in it when I made comics to spoof the random things my friends and I did or wrote them notes. The point here being, the necklace was as corny and as melodramatic as it sounds a part of my identity. It was the only piece of jewelry that I wore, and the only item of clothing that I gave half a care about I'm not " huge" on fashion .My question, in gist, is how do I get over this spectacularly insignificant item of dress, regardless of how close I may have held it to myself?
Jewelry burns after getting it cleaned, soaked in alcohol and it still burns.?
My wedding rings were cleaned by Zales and have burned given a rash to my skin since I've had them cleaned they did not burn or give me rashes before getting them cleaned and I wore them almost 24 7 for a year . I've used several different types of cleaners and soaked them in alcohol and nothing helps, I still get the burns and it's been several months. Is there anything else I can do to help clean my rings so they no longer burn my skin?
