Lifting textbooks for muscles?
Is it weird that I lift my school textbooks for excercose? It actually helps....it's like 50 pounds each side.
Why don't they teach about the Spanish Influenza Epidemic/Pandemic in schools or in textbooks?
I only learned about this horrendous influenza epidemic because I go to a special school. There were more deaths in this flu than in all of the wars and in any other disease, it killed approximately 50 million people from October of 1918 to February of 1919. I just don't understand, if it killed approx. 50 mil. globally why isn't it something we learn about or need to know? HELP I REALLY NEED THIS

Where can I find massage therapy textbooks? (please read details)?
I'm in high school right now, and I've known for a while that I want to be a masseuse. I want to start studying at least the anatomy part of massage therapy, so that I'll have a good grasp of it by the time I'm actually taking a course. I have a love for biology anyway, so regardless, I would find it interesting.Does anyone know where I can get one, if not a remarkably similar book, which would prepare me?

Since no other category can answer this Q: Where can i see which textbooks are available for iPad & costs?
I've tried every other category that would make any sense it being in education, consumer electronics, ect. . So i figured that if all else fails, I can trust my fellow men to helpfully answer a Q and bc it seems this is the only category that is every answered . I want to get an iPad for college bc i heard that the major textbook makers are making their textbooks available for iPad. Will reading radiography textbooks help me in emt basic classes?
I'm 18 and have read college level radiography textbook. I changed my mind and decided to go to emt classes. Seems like faster money. Well anyway would the fact that I read that textbook make the emt classes easier? What are your views on this subject?
What should I use to carry my textbooks?
I'm in college and I'm expected to carry 10 20 lbs of books notebooks each time class meets. I've had to start bringing my laptop so it's more around 20 or more lbs. I don't weigh 200lbs so it's more than 10 % of my body weight. I have chronic back pain so I can't carry much. I used to be able to get by with a back pack but my shoulders can't handle it. What could I put them in? preferably not too ugly I have to wear jeans and nicer stuff to school
Dental Assistant Textbook?
Hi Everyone I am going back to School In September to take up Dental Assisting at a local trade technical school. I would like to get a little bit of a head start on some of the material to be covered and hoped somebody that has already been through the program could recommend a good textbook for this subject? I am in my final stage of training to become an American Heart Association BLS Instructor. When I teach a HEARTSAVER AED CPR First Aid Course, am i required to actually give the students the textbooks to own takehome? Or can I own 8 textbooks, let them use it during the class, but then take them back once finished.What am I allowed to do regarding AHA's requirement?thanks
