Is it ok to mount a lcd tv above an aquarium?
I have a 42" lcd tv and I am getting ready to set up a 55 gallon saltwater aquarium. I am thinking of mounting the tv on the wall and setting up the tank below the tv. I am just wondering if anyone has done this and what results did you have? Is evaporation a problem for the tv? I am open to any ideas comments on the topic....thanks
Hi. Ive got an LED strip which I am planning to use in my aquarium....?
..... I want to cut it as its a bit long. My question is do I have to cover the cut end with anything like electrical tape or anything or do I just leave it as it is. Obviously it is not going into the water but it will probably get humid in there where it will sit. The other end has the wires on it so the cut end will be blank. Any help would be apprecitated. The strip is totally waterproof.

Small desktop aquarium needs a power inverter...?
I was just told that I can no longer keep my aquarium on my desk at work since it plugs into the wall. Which I guess is a fire hazard. So I need some form of an inverter, anyone know exactly what I am looking for? The plug is just a normal 12v plug. Is there an inverter that runs on batteries that I can recharge at my desk? Thanks.

Well i just got a christmas present and i really liek fish so i spent it on my aquarium and theres so many fish i cant get yet so im wondering how do i get those fish. Also in the feeding options are earth worms also for your fish and if it is then whats the diffrence from the flakes.

Hello, I recentley moved into a bigger room and bought a 72 gallon aquarium. This is far from my first aquarium, but this is a new problem. as i have been setting things up i realize i have 2 options dude to lack of wallspace, either infront of a window or under my 42" plasma. The tank does not have water yet nor has the television been mounted so i have time to debate. it will be a saltwater reef tank and will have a glass lid and possibly a canopy. Im aware of issues with the tv falling or anything else. im mostly inquiring that if it is properly secured to the wall, what kind of other issues may arise long term to the tv? I could mount infront of the window but the upkeep and overgrowth of algae would require constant maintanance.Thanks for any input
What is the best camera for taking pictures of aquarium fish and decent for just normal pictures?
I am looking for a digital camera and my main uses will be for aquarium fish. I also want one thats good for normal use such as landscapes, family gatherings...etc etcis there a camera that has both???and prefferably no more than 500 dollars. maybe more is ok. as long as its not to much over.uhm...home aquarium mainly. maybe a public one.
Where can I buy DVDs of a fish aquarium and/or fire place logs burning?
I've seen short videos, lasting only a few minutes, of scenes like fish aquariums or logs burning. But I would like to buy full length DVDs of these relaxing scenes just to play on my television sort of like background when I'm reading or doing what ever. Where can I buy such a thing?
