Why aren't alkaline batteries use for clocks?
I was in a Big Lots a few weeks ago and was standing in line near the battery section. On top of the display was a card sign that indicated that alkaline batteries were not recommended for clocks and a couple more items that I don't remember. Why is this? I thought alkaline were better for everything that needs a battery.

Do Energizer "High Tech" batteries have Lithium inside?
Xbox 360 Controller Batteries + Charger Weirding Out?
We have a brand now xbox 360 with a new battery and an old battery and a wall charger with two ports. Whenever you plug in the batteries they say they're charging for a few minutes light is red and then it goes green, but when you put them into the controller they read full battery but click on things and the stick moves all the way to the left and refuses to move to the right and then the controller dies. When they're in the charger, one battery a black one flashes red, then blank, then green, then blank, then red etc. and if you leave it in it goes Red,green for 1 2 a second then blank then red againWtf I want to play SkyrimI don't know if it's the controller, the charger, or the batteries. And please don't tell me to " just buy new batteries" because to be frank, no sh it Sherlock.
Does mAH mean longer battery life?
I bought a bunch of ebay replacement batteries for my Canon Powershot 300 HS. The Canon battery is 3.7v 750mah, and the replacement batteries were 3.7v and 1200mah. I was under the understanding that mah was the battery capacity, yet the 750mah Canon battery lasts longer. Were the eBay sellers lying about the mah or are there other factors that make them worse than the Canon battery?I'd like to get official Canon batteries, but can't find them in Canada.
Do all Dr. Dre Beats Studio include battery?
I am asking this because I recently purchased the headphones for 160 euro off of eBay but before I purchased them, I asked if I could return them if I was not happy with them e.g. sound quality but really I would be checking the serial on the battery cover to see if they are the fake or original and they replied saying it wasn't a problem. I also asked if they were the originals and they replied with a yes, last but not least after purchasing them I asked if they included batteries and they replied with a no, which worried me. They have 100 % positive feedback and are from England not China. Please help me and share your thoughts
Problems with Samsung.. And Will updating my Galaxy S2 to Ice Cream Sandwich solve my battery issues?
Please bare with me and read this, I really need help.I have a Samsung Galaxy S2 running on Gingerbread 2.3.5 and it was an amazing phone... well, only for two months then I started having quick battery drain, about 1 % drop every 4 minutes. I sent it to the warranty for repair, they gave it back to me two days later saying that it was a software problem and they claimed that they fixed it. They said they updated it to the latest firmware. But I don't think they did 'cause when I gave it to them it was Gingerbread 2.3.5. And they gave it back to me as it was, same firmware, same version, nothing new I GUESS they just did a factory reset . It spent two days at their service center and it did not improve, actually it kinda became worse. I sent it back to them, and again two days later, I got it back. They said they checked the phone and they said they found no faults. They didn't fix it and its still bad. I'm so frustrated and disappointed. ... AGAIN, for the freaking third time, I went to them which was today . I had a little talk with them, with lots of arguing. They kept saying that I must be using the phone excessively for the battery to drain that fast which is not true . They insisted the phone is ok. One of the guys said " Just give him a new battery" , another guy didn't like the idea of giving me a new battery so he said " I don't think it's the battery" . I insisted on getting a new one though. Then finally, the guy said " ok" . He went outside the Service center and took a left turn heading to the showroom . He came back with a battery. The battery was just a battery by itself, no box, nothing included. He handed it over to me and asked for my old battery in return. I was so out of my mind, that I simply traded batteries, no questions asked. After I came back home, I realised what a stupid, stupid thing I did. I tried the battery, and again, same thing, bad battery life. Then I had a look at the battery's golden parts, and I spotted dots on them which immediately made me realise the battery has been used before and it is NOT brand new . I know that's a lot to work with, but please people, can you help me with that? I'm thinking to update it to Ice Cream Sandwich. Maybe that'll solve the problem? Oh and they are so bad, they still don't have ICS updates rolling out.To sum this up, I'd like to put it into a few simple points, which I would LOVE and APPRECIATE if I can get feedback on all of them 1 Does updating it to ICS solve my problem? even though it was perfectly fine with Gingerbread when it was just two months old .2 Does updating it to ICS at home void my warranty? which is basically useless .3 Can you give me a link where I can find a good, reliable ICS update? VERY IMPORTANT I need one which supports English and Arabic I presume it has English, so I'll emphasize on ARABIC. I need one which supports Arabic. Thanks in advance. I would reeeeaally appreciate it if I get feedback on the three points questions I mentioned above.Again, Thank you.
