I switched direct tv to time warner cable tv, however image quality as well as the channel is downer for TWC when compared to Direct tv. Can I be able to cancel my time warner tv contract? Technician guy came and installed the box today so i guess service started as of today.
Comcast cable tv question?
Alright so I have Comcast tv and everything is fine with it until I start going to the higher channels like over 300... For example, right now I'm trying to watch ESPNU which is channel 730 for me. I was able to watch the game that was on for a few seconds and then the audio started screwing up and so was the picture constantly. Now the screen is lack with a " NOT AUTHORIZED" sign on it. It seems sometimes my channels work and sometimes they don't. I've watched ESPNU before but now I can't. This inconsistency is pissing me off and I don't know what to do. I've tried reseting my cable box, but that doesn't do anything. How can I get the channels to work CONSISTENTLY? thank you for your feedback sorry for the somewhat aggressive message above, but it's very frustrating.
I have internet run through cable, I do not have cable tv but can i unhook internet n put it on tv?

my friend has airtel dth connection and previously he had dishtv connection which has been closed now so he has a dishtv unused set up boxhe offered it to me ..so i wanted to know that if the dishtv set up box would work with my cable tv .??i.e instead of buying a set up box from my cable operator can use dishtv set up box..??otherwise which set up box brands can i go for .. for cable tv ..please help ...

We cancelled cable TV awhile back to save money. Since then we left the old cable cord plugged into the TV anyway because we discovered we can get the free antenna channels with the cable connected, but can get absolutely NOTHING without it because we don't have a digital converter box no money for one right now . I know antenna channels are free, but is it free to use your old comcast cable line as an antenna when you're not paying them for cable tv service? Need to know asap & really need to hear from someone who truly knows the answer and isn't guessing or assuming... because since we still get internet ONLY from comcast they have now called & said they're sending a serviceman to check out a 'problem' in our line, something about a weak internet signal... and they're coming today P Thanks so much anyone who knows and can help... I Googled it but just can't find an answer anywhere We get absolutely NO cable channels, only a few free local network antenna air channels.
