Recording limits on camcorders?
I know DSLR and other digital cameras typically will cut off somewhere between 10 30 minutes of recording, or 4gb, whichever comes first. This isn't desirable for what I am looking at doing in the future one thing I'm looking at as a potential career path is shooting videos of weddings and such with a multi camera set up and don't want to worry about that 4gb limit Are HDD camcorders the ones that record to hard drives able to record over 4gb at a time? I did see something about Canon's camcorders doing file splitting starting and stopping seemlessly at 4gb per recording . Do all camcorders support this function?

What are some good, affordable camcorders for skateboarding?
Hey guys, I want to start filming some skating just for fun and I wanna start saving up so. I know that there's a great camcorder called ContourRoam and it's like $200, not expensive but I'm looking for a camera that's around that price range, a bit larger at least usable as a proper hand held camera , good quality audio video and like you're able to see what you just recorded with the camera without using USB and plugging it onto the computer and stuff so you can actually see whether you're getting a good angle. I haven't really taken this seriously so I have to kinda learn how to film.I've seen a lot of people using this kinds of cameras, the hand held camcorders and I want one like with a handle and also compatible with fisheye lenses i think every camcorder is? haha not sure . so if you guys can help it'd be greatly appreciated and i'll definitely pick the best for the best answer thanks guys so basically i want a camcorder that's handheld not big great video audio quality affordable instant playback with a handle or maybe you can mount a handle onto it?
What are good wireless mics for camcorders like the people on the news use?
I have no clue what they are, and how they work. Do they hook up to the camera the same time you're talking and the camera just turns it's audio device off and uses the mic? Because I have no clue.I am going to start making prank videos on youtube, and just about have an idea on what camera I am going to get it's a sony HD and know that when you record from a ways away and zoom it, it won't pick up sound, so I am going to need a mic. And I am going to need 2 of them, going to one camera, because their will be two of us. And I am only looking to spend max of $300ish dollars.

Slow motion feature on camcorders?
I am looking into buying a camcorder. One of the features I'm looking for in my camcorder is he ability to play back your footage in slow motion. I would like to be able to do this on the actual camcorder, rather than have to upload it onto the computer and use editing software to see it in slow mo. However, I don't even know if this kind of camcorder exists. Could you guys tell me if this kind of thing exists? Also, I would like some suggestions of a good one, with or without the slow motion playback. I have a budget of $400. Thanks guys
What security tags are used on cameras and camcorders, how can I remove them and how can I make a fake one?
I am making a short film for a competition, and one of the scenes is a young, inexperienced boy trying to steal a camcorder from a big department store. He manages to get it past the door before a security guard who's noticed him runs after him and catches him.I know camcorders come in boxes, and in department stores you ask for them at the electronics section and you can pay for them at the main checkout. What I DON'T know is what security tags are used on them. Is it those sticker things with the metallic back? Consumer camcorders vs. Prosumer Camcorders: What's the real difference?
I have been doing some research on camcorders, and I can't seem to find enough of a difference between a camera like a sony nex vg10 or a panasonic hxr mc2000u compared to a panasonic HDC TM900 or a vixia hv40. I do want to buy a camcorder for shooting short films and if anyone has any ideas for a good one to shoot with for somewhat stylistically dark videos, then I would love to get some feedback on what I could buy. My budget is $2500.
Is there a way to take live footage from two camcorders and show it on a projector in like a split screen?
I don't mean an online stream. All i want is to take two feeds and merge them into one screen and show it on a projector. Any programs that could do that? It would be best if they were free but they don't need to be.
