I'm looking into a GoPro camera and looking for one that can handle all types of stuff. I notice there are particular ones for certain things. But isn't there one that can pretty much be used for anything?

My dads girlfriend has had windows broken and gas sucked out of her car, jewelry and tools are missing also. The other night someone busted the back of my dads car window out. We believe its my dads girlfriends nephews. A few of us were in the back room talking about getting camera installed around the house to catch the people. Well, today her nephew came over and said he heard that she was wanting to get cameras for the house and there is no way that he knew. Only 4 people knew, my sister and her husband were two but they left. We believe the house or atleast that room could be bugged with cameras or atleast small audio mics. I need opinions on what could be happening and what I should do Where should I look in the rooms? Thank you

Independent Film Camera Question!?
Hello I'm a new independent film maker and I wanted to get advice on the cameras I should use for my style of film making, I want my films to have a sort of vintage look I guess? I love the JVC GZ HD 7 b.c I like the way the actual camera looks and it's been recommended to me before, but I also like the Canon Vixia HV40 because it has the 24p " cinema" look that I want but it doesn't have the slow motion effect some of the other Canons have? So I'd like a camera that is HD, has a Slow Motion effect, & 24p if possible To help narrow down your suggestions, my budget is 400$ 600$, if that seems like an impossible budget I can go up to 1000$ maybe but I'd like to stay between there.Thank you very much Thank you

Which camera should I buy?
I have recently become interested in cameras and filming. I was wondering what camera I should get. I want one that does pictures and filming. Preferably 1080p and high frame rate so I can do some slow motion. Auto stabilisation would be nice too. The catch, I won't spend over $1000, preferably a few hundred bucks. I have looked at the Canon T3i which looks pretty good. Any suggestions?TomAlso the Canon T3i has good audio

ok so i have been looking at some cameras like nikon and canon which usually have around 4 starts which is great im not sure what to get but here are some things i would love D crystal clear images under $200 more than a 3x zoom good in low light good battery life if possible thnk you so much so many of my friends post awesome pictures tha tome out really clear and im jelous
