Removed electrical outlet?
We custom built a bookshelf in our guest room and we took out removed one of the electrical outlets from that wall to fitted the bookshelf and now all the outlets in our master bedroom including the outlets in our guestroom are not working. Please advise and help. Thank you for your time.

What container would work bests for my electrical devices?
I'm hooking up a system for my car that needs a few switches and gauges. I would like them all to fit out of a box and stick out. I dont have many tools but would like something simple and easy enough to cut through yet not hazardous with an ammeter and switches wired inside. I cant find anything like a simple pencil box or something. Anyone know of anything I could cut through with a knife and use thats simple?
What is inside the "dongle" that is on electrical leads?
Many electrical leads for gadgets these days have a cylindrical thing which people call a " dongle" near the end which plugs into the gadget. What is inside a " dongle" and what is it for? Why are there " dongles" on some things but not on others like toasters?
What is the actual reason for an electrical device not working when it has been in contact with water?
Okay, sounds like a stupid question but why do electrical devices actually stop working if they have been wet? My old phone has been through the washing machine 3 times and survived I know, I should be careful . However, I bought a new phone and this time when it went through the wash it stopped working It made buzzing sounds when turned on but the screen would ot turn on . Yeah, I know I shouldn't be so careless but unfortunately I have...So what exactly stops a device working when it is washed wet with water.
Question about wet electrical plugs?
I knocked over a bottle of water and it spilled onto one of my chargers. The electrical plug on the charger was partially exposed to the water. I immediately dried it with tissue and am currently air drying it to make sure it's completely dry.Is it okay to plug my charger into the socket after I wait a few hours?
What is this electrical component?
It is a small gray disc with two legs marked as RT101 on the circuitboard, and says 10007 A U on it. I need to know what to look for to replace it.

Can you get shocked from an electrical socket?
You know those computer power strips? Well, while I was drunk I grabbed the powerstrip to move it, but when I was moving it, one of my fingers went over the two holes that the plug normally goes into. I didn't feel a shock, but I am worried I may of been shocked without realizing it. Does rubbing your finger over the two plug holes normally produce a shock? Would the fact that I was currently standing on a plastic mat be the thing responsible for why I didn't feel a shock? Just wondering. Will Useless answer is useless.

I recently plugged in my phone charger, and i was was talking to my frend while doing so. at the exact moment when the plug went in to the outlet, it zapped my finger, so i let go.I was just wonderig, if i kept my figner on longer, would i die? Or get serously injured?This is not a joke. im only 13.
Why do my tritton ax 120 gaming headphone give be electrical static when plugged into my pc?
Everytime I move my mouse I can hear static even if I turn down the volume I can still hear it. There is also a constant background static.

Electrical outlet removal problem?
We custom built a bookshelf in our guest room and we took out removed one of the electrical outlets from that wall to fitted the bookshelf and now all the outlets in our master bedroom including the outlets in our guestroom are not working. When we removed the outlet, there were 2 whites wires, 2 black wires and 2 ground wires. We just put caps on all the individual wires. I did not connect any wires .should i be connecting any wires ? I checked and rechecked all the circuit breakers and all GFI outlets as well. Please advise and thank you for your time. ... Thanks..
