Why wouldn't my Sim wear her engagement ring?
my Sim took his girlfriend on a date to a restuarant downtown I'm working on TS2 & Nightlife only ready to propose to her. I'd locked it as a want for both of them . I had to reseat them in the restuarant because after they'd finished eating, all my other actions faded away SAnyway, I initiated the proposal and Lauren gets all excited at the sight of the box, clapping her hands over her mouth and squealing etc, but then she shook her head and started waving her hand about, pushing the closed box away. I thought, damn poor Matt, she's turned him down But he was still smiling and about 2 seconds later, the engagement memory span over both their heads and entered Matt's my playable Sim memory bank and stated his relationship to Lauren as engaged. But Lauren never wore an engagement ring on either hand as far as I can tell.Why not? They married easy enough. Could it be a glitch because even when they put their wedding rings on, Matt had just married and Lauren, according to the memory spinning over her head, had married a " rich Sim" correct according to Matt's worth and yet her memory just showed an ordinary marriage. Is that because she was an NPC before marriage?I'm not too bothered about the wedding, more the engagement ring, cos that's never happened to me before when the engagement in itself was accepted by both Sims. Why didn't she want his rock?
Sims 2 Can't propose engagement?
So I have a cute couple who are in love. They have the medium chemistry, and their mood bars are full. I can propose, 'Stay the night' but I can't can't propose 'engagement', or 'go steady'.Any clues why? And how can I fix it?Also Neither sim is in a relationship.Also Neither sim is in a relationship outside their own, and they both want the engagement.Both are adults
