What will be the ecological impact of ereaders?
Nowadays we find our self divided between the classic paper books the fact of feeling the pages, the smell, the fact the they are actual objects and the electronic books they are cheaper, you can get them anywhere with internet connection . Even though I like better classic books, since I got my ereader all I can see for this device are pros. Not only the fact that they are lighter than a regular book or more than one because I am a university student and I usually need to bring to class a couple of books, plus notebook, plus laptop, and my ereader make this much easier,because I can upload all my books to my ereader and also right my notes on it But also because is environmentally friendly. We will be saving trees and reducing pollution because of the ink by not buying that many traditional books. What do you think?

My girlfriend and I both bought Sony PRS T1 wifi ereaders in order to share books between them. We have shared actual books in the past and can't seem to figure out how to share books between our ereaders. Can someone please help??
Is the free 3G service that comes with some ereaders slow?
I'm looking into ereaders like the Kobo, Nook, Kindle, etc. I know some of them have free 3G and web browsers built in. There are times when I'm out doing something and would love to be able to do a quick web search like if I can't remember the name of a book I wanted, or want to know if a certain item has good reviews or not, etc.So it wouldn't have to be SUPER fast. But if it's super, super slow I'm not even gonna bother paying a bit more for the " free" 3G.How fast slow are they on the different ereaders?

I am looking at ereaders but I would particularly like one that you can surf the web with to go on websites like facebook, google, and things like that. If you could list ereaders that do this along with downloading books of course and things like that, that would be great. Remember the cheaper the better

Are there any ereaders without wifi?
I know this question has been asked before. But I'm asking again are there any ereaders that don't have wifi capabilities. Instead it would.use a usb cord and synthesis woth a computers library of audio books and ebooks. Something a bit older with simi decent graphics for around $30 to $50. If anyone could suggest some none wifi capable ereaders it would be greatly appreciated

Have narrowed the type down to Kobo and the Kindle. Where can I get ereaders in asia?
Does anyone know where I can get ereaders such as the Kindle Kobo Nook Sony Readers in asia? I wouldn't mind getting it online but if I can get them in stores in Asia, it would let me breathe because then I wouldn't have to carry this anxiety of my eReader breaking while it's being shipped here. Anyone?
