Reliable film information
My windows media player is making weird noises when i try to watch downloaded films, is there an alternative?
media programme i can use to watch them?any help be appreciated cheers
I'd like to get into professional filming, where do I start?
More specifically about camerasI would like to know what kind of cameras were used in films such as " Chronicle" or " Submarine" in terms of the cameras used by the characters nit the actual film directors. Another film of interest is " Grave Encounters" I am asking about cameras with the square " lens cover?" I am also curious about how they would put titles over the film without using something like " Vegas or After Effects" I have only possesed crude cameras such as the Canon ElPH 300 HS, or a Go Pro, or one of those AVCHD 1080p cameras which are held by a strap and record to an SD Card. They do not seem " professional" to me, I have heard of a camera called something like a " RedBox" not the movie dispenser but this was one of those kinds of cameras. What is used on shows like Frozen planet or How it's made? Do these record in digitial or some sort of analogue casette?I guess that I would have to edit with a computer. Thanks for the read

Canon 7D for feature film?
I am thinking of purchasing a canon 7d. My question is to those whom use it, what lenses and zoom lenses do you use? Do you have sample videos I can see so I can now the image quality etc.? I know there have been a few films shot with the 7D I've seen Tiny Furniture, dying to see Black Swan and Red State and going to see Like Crazy later tonight and I'd like to know what lenses etc were used to shoot those films so that I know what I should be getting. Also please let me know how much you spent in total and were you purchased your canon and lenses at. Thanks

Cinecamera 35mm and Film?
In photography i can use the same 120 large 6cm film into different cameras that use the film with different frame 6x4,5 , 6x6 , 6x9 cm .In cinematography with Arri 35mm cameras is the same? I need to change the camera for different frame widescreen, cinemascope, techniscope and others or differently with the same camera can i mount different films ? And so, does the crop lens change?
