Reliable photography information
What camera would i use for photography?
I'm using a digital camera at the moment but since photography is my current career choice id like to look into getting a 'better' camera, could anyone suggest a camera that i could buy, maybe a link or something, cost doesnt bother me much. would mean a lot, thanks xxxive been looking at a canon slr 550d and im not much into photographing people more outdoors landscapes and occasional close ups of butterflys and flowers

HI IM WANTING TO START TAKING PIC'S JUST FOR LIKE A HOBBY AND I NEED A GOOD CAMERA LIKE A PHOTOGRAPHER ONE AND IT NEEDS TO BE LIKE ONE THAT CHANGES LENSES AND ALL THAT GOOD STUFF PLEASE HELP AND WERE COULD I GET IT FOR CHEEPISH BUT STILL A GREAT CAMERA THANKS SOOO MUCH
Is the Nikon Coolpix L810 a good camera to start photography with?
I know that it's stellar with the optical zoom and super basic, which is why I was wondering if this is a nice beginner's camera. Anything anyone knows about the camera would help too Thanks
Am I expecting too much from digital photography ?
So many times the resolution is so poor. I had an inexpensive Yashica camera, but I got much better photos than what I usually see from digital photos. When magnified even a little it looks like " paint by numbers" I know a better digital camera will solve that problem, but as I said I didn't need a very good " regular" camera to give me much better photos.
What are the best FREE photography apps for an ipod touch 4th generation?

I'd love to know some suggestions for photography magazines that I can subscribe to. I bought Digital Photo published in the UK at Costco, and I love it. I'd love something with tutorials or tips...inspirational photos... You know. Kind of like Digital Photo But it can't have mature content in it the way American Photo does. Thanks for the suggestions
Beginner in photography, i have a nikon... Looking to buy a new camera?
I'm a beginner and i have a Nikon Coolpix S80. I don't think it's a great camera because most pictures come out blurry when i don't use the flash. I'm pretty active on tumblr and wanna start doing my own photography. I have a model in mind and she's pretty unique in her style although she's also pretty gothic so i want my photos to be very sharp but also quite able to pick up the dark colours in my photos. I'm wondering if i should go for a new camera and if so which one? Keeping in mind i go on holiday quite a lot to places like Dubai and want to be able to take some great HD pictures. Is there anywhere i can go on the internet that can show me how to take HD photos with my current coolpix S80?

I want to do some star trail photography. How do I set my shutter speed to over 30 seconds on the t2i w/ bulb?
I have a remote, not sure if it has a lock, i have the t2i with a tripod, 75 30mm lens and a 18 55mm lens. Help please how do i do it, is it with bulb? I really dont want to be holding down the shutter for 30 minutes manually on bulb mode. thanks

Need help from photography/camera experts?
I have a Nikon D3100 DSLR camera with an 18 55mm lens. I want to buy a telephoto lens maybe55 200mm or 70 300mm but my camera's manual says it is compatible to CPU type lenses only, and even has an illustration on how to distinguish a CPU type from the type G & D lenses. My problem is, i'm confused about the features of some lenses i've seen online. They say it is compatible with D3100 cameras yet they have either G or D in their description.
