Reliable polish information
Any way to get fingernail polish off of a disc?
okay so my sister is retarded and put fingernail polish on a disc to fill the scratches and OBVIOUSLY that didn't work so now she's wondering if there is any way to remove said nail polish. i suggested fingernail polish REMOVER because it can't really get anymore messed up than it is. but apparently she doesnt want to try that so w'ever. any suggestions?

Also has anyone tried it on a touch screen phone? I have an LG OptimusThanks spiddi. I bought some displex but from a cheaper supplier on ebay and it was delivered next day.I tried rubbing it in for almost half an hour and finally resorted to using a dremmel type polishing tool. By this time I had gave up & thought that a new screen was needed anyway so what the hell. After a few minutes The screen looked like it was delaminating but to my joy I found that LG had put a protective cover on and managed to peel it back to discover a perfect screen. I had tried several times to peel the top of the screen without success. Boy would I have looked stupid at the phone repair shop.
Can you put nail polish/varnish on phone batterys?
i just want to write 'old' on my phone battery because ive got two of the same phone, one i broke the charging port so cannot use without charging the battery in my newer phone. i use it as a spare and always have it on me as blackberry batterys dont last that long and i never know how long im out for but dont want to get the batterys mixed up because for some reason i dont really care why but the newer battery lasts longeri was just checking whether i can use nail varnish polish on a phone battery because i dont know wether it has chemicals or anything in that could break the battery?im only putting it on the casing of the battery on the side that shows when you take the back off and doesnt touch anything to make the battery actually work btw,so simply can i paint the world old onto my battery or will it break the battery?
How do i get nail polish remover out of my phone screen?
i was taking off my nail polish and i spilt nail polish remover all over my phone i wiped it off but my screen is like transparent looking and you can see splotches of liquid in it i dont know how to get it out i took out my sd card and there was some in it. i have an htc android 4g its sitting in rice right now but i dont know if that will work help?
Why does my iPhone 4 smell like bubblegum and nail polish remover?
Ever since I got my iPhone 4 about 5 months ago , it had a distinct smell of bubblegum on the very top of it. ONLY the top of it, so i guess it could be from the power button, headphone jack, antenna line thingy, or just the metal strip on top. It has ALWAYS smelt like this. And toady, it smells like a mix of bubblegum and nail polish remover I have never put anything on top of my phone, especially not bubblegum or nail polish remover I have never had any problems with my phone what so ever. But the smell bothers me when ever I make a phone call or it is close to my face. Is something wrong inside of it? Perhaps something is burning? ANY help is welcome, thanks.
I spilled nail polish remover on my iPod touch?
I spilled it on my ipod touch the screen works fine but it got in the speaker and headphone port and I can't listen to music which deefeats the entire purpose. It's in a bag of rice right now but is there anything else I can do I need help fast please D My baby is dying and I'm scared. Oh it's also turned off
Does nail polish remover damage apple earphones?
I decorated my earphones with nail polish but the nail polish slowly wore off and my earphones don't look good so I decided to put a tiny drop of nail polish remover on a cotton ball and just sort of wiped the cotton ball up and down the white part of the earphones, I don't think the liquid touched any part of the metal what so ever I just want to make sure that I did not damage my earphones.Thanks.
Nail polish on iPod screen?
So I was painting my nails and listened to music... And clumsy me spilled a drop of nail polish on my iPod touch screen. I wiped it off but there's still a bit of a smudge left... Is there any way I can get it off without ruining my iPod? I don't have any nail polish remover at the moment

Nail Polish Remover on extention cord/power strip?
Aha well .. I sorta kinda spilled .. a lot .. of nail polish remover onto a power strip.. there were like 2 things plugged into it. I kept those plugged in but I removed the power strip from the wall and got a towel to clean up the remover.. I'm kinda scared that if I try to use the power strip again then my room will catch on fire or that something bad is goin to happen. ... what should I do...? I posted this question yesterday but I misspelled some words in the question
