I recently got a frequency synthesizer and a digital phase meter, as well as some other things, and I don't know really what they are used for or how to use them. Lamens terms please as I know only a little about electronics in the ways these are used.I have a phase meter and a frequency synthesizer and don't know how to use them or what they are for. They are old and didn't come with manuals. Any help would be appreciated.They didn't come with manuals. The F.S. is a Fluke 633A. The P.M. is a Wiltron model 355.
SAE AMS 2750 requires system accuracy testing on furnaces. Where can I get the correct test equipment?
We currently have a testing apparatus made in house that we have used for years and need to replace. Our unit consists of 2 millivolt meters in series with an electronic ice bath to eliminate ambient error. Looking for a canned dual millivolt meter designed specifically for this purpose. Most common inputs are type K & type J thermocouples, but may need to expand to other ranges in the future. This test equipment must be certified for accuracy and be able to be recertified either by manufacturer or independant lab. Would like to know what equipment is currently used in industry to perform this testing.

I was in the TV repair business for many years, many years ago. It became hard to make a living because at that time you could replace a TV nearly as cheap as repairing but With the cost of the new LCD's & Plasmas I'm thinking it may be a good time to jump back into the business and was wondering what test equipment I would need to service these units.
Cell Phone testing equipment?
Is there any such thing as a device you can plug up to a cell phone and it basically gives a analysis of what is wrong with the phone. If you have any tips for testing phone or repairs typical issues please give.
