I've been wrkn for home depot for almost ah year.. well actually a yr.. i start in feb of 2010 been lovin it since i started off as a cashier for 8.90 .. afta sum months ah new position opened for paint dept. ima quick learner nd i learned how to mix paint whn i was ah cashier,, anyways the position for paint and other depts opened i applied for paint.. nd my asm was like paint full got ah guy from floorin goin there but we will see anyways guy from flooring found ah anotha job nd declined the paint position. nd i was told im goin to b in flooring.. NOTE i didnt sign ANY papers for this postion i was just given it but i accepted cuz u kno u gota wrk ur way up anyways now ima specialist in flooring part time.. dont even have part specialist anywaysi went to store manager asked him if i get ah raise he was like technically u dont i was like really cuz whneva u move from ah register to the floor automatic raise . i quickly learned my dept nd also learn the reach truck even the forklift etc nd still help in paint now we in feb where u suppose to gt ah raise..i've had one ima grl in flooring nd im 20. i pick up tile etc man type stuff i mean i love it but im not lovin my pay.. so if they give me sum wack 50 cent raise which i think they will do .. should i call corporate? i want at least 2 dolla raise. cuz i wrked hard for it. i kno times is tough but i have bills ima college student doin my best nd i believe im just being used.. so wat advice you have will be greatly appreciated.
