Looking for a photography school in the Toronto/Pickering Area?
I just bought my first DSLR camera. i have a nikon d3000, and i'm not so great at taking pictures. I know how to work most of the controls on my camera now, but i don't know what kinds of settings to use for what lighting, and how to get good pictures etc etc.I'm looking for a credible photography school course in the Toronto east or maybe even pickering area. Has anyone else had a bad experience with Mr. Gary Green of The RockStars of Photography?
I hired Mr. Gary Green of The RockStars of Photography therockstarsofphotography.com to shoot my engagement and wedding pics, after he advertised on craigslist.org that he was available to shoot weddings. He did the engagement and wedding shoot, however, two years later, he still has not delivered any of the photographs or the wedding album we purchased. I sued him in small claims court and won a judgement since he never bothered to show up. I won a refund in the amount I paid for the pictures, but we all know that is not enough to buy a new wedding, nor is it ever enough to compensate for the precious memories that were lost stolen. Not to mention that now, instead of trying to extract the images it is on me to try and extract the money, the legal system seems to be no help at all Anyway, I am looking to take things to the next level and am looking for anyone else out there that has either had the same experience with Gary Green, or has had similar negative experience. I saw this case on the news cnycentral.com news story.aspx?id 426605and the photographer in question was facing 8 years in prison for grand theft Any help or advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated
