Reliable fathers day information
My dad has terminal cancer and this will most likely be his last fathers day. what should I get him?
im having a hard time trying to pick the perfect gift, i want to get him something that shows him I love him and that he means alot to me. have any suggestions?

So im 15 and tomorrow is fathers day, my dad (43) has cancer and has really been thoruhg a lot lately?
so tomorrow we are going to go over to a family party at my cousins later on the water, but what should i do in themorning to just make it better for him? would breakfast in bed be good or would he probably have no appetite nausea? i wouldnt want him to feel pressured. i wrote him a heartfelt letter and me and my siblings got him a laptop but like how emotionally can i make this day better for him, i really want him to have a great day thanks
What are you getting your dad for fathers day?
i'm baking him a cake and giving him a card that says " happy fathers day to my dad Mr. Fix It he totally is ..... from your daughter with the Loose Screw." LOL. i couldn't stop laughing what did you all get for your fathers even if some don't deserve it ....Laura it was already written on the card. and haha about your card. i'd probably get my feelings hurt too it's one thing to laugh about YOURSELF, but maybe another when others laugh at you....they're laughing at your expense maybe it's something we need to get over work on, no?
Father died two weeks ago, today is fathers day. How am I going to cope PLEASE TAKE SOME TIME AND READ :(?
When i found out my dad had passed, I was initially upset and in flood of tears, a few days passed and as i had my mind occupied, I felt better. Because I wasn't thinking about him. I also had the funeral to focus on, so I was a busy bee that week.The funeral came, as the Hearse stopped outside our family home my heart broke in to a thousand pieces, I knew then that from now in, things would be extremely difficult.Since the Funeral, I have been feeling extreme loss and sadness. I am too sad to cry, even when I feel like screaming in to my pillow I can not, I just sit and stare in to space, even though my soul inside is bursting to realise al of the emotions I am bottling up, everything reminds me of him. I have a cocktail of emotions, guilt, anger, emptiness, hurt etc.I am just a big ball of emotion and confusion.I realise now, when he died I was in shock.But now, I feel like a part of me has disappeared into dust, or as if someone has came and cut a half from me, like a pie or something sorry i explain things weird Now it is fathers day, and i have constant reminders.One of the happiest dates has now turned into one of the most significant, and saddest dates of my life.I hate today....What can i do to stop feeling so sad today? I want to celebrate his life. My my my, he must be looking down on me know crossing his arms and thinking " Come on, do something petal" haha, he was a very driven man.I'll stop babbling now sorry.I'm going to start Missionary work in a few months, also in the meantime I have planned to visit care homes and help out.Thats what my father would have wanted, and thats what I want.It's true that I should go visit people that have no one on a day like today and be grateful for my life, and my Dads life.Thanks to everyone x
Too tired for fathers day?
I've gotten little sleep the past few days. Very little. My body just wants to shutdown and sleep and a couple of hours extra, but i know that it might let my dad down for fathers day. He had a move day planned and such and my parents are divorcing so i see him about once a week. What do i do? Call him and ask him to pick me up later so we can hang? Just go out now with the tiredness and hope i don't fall asleep?
