I can taste music and sounds?
I swear I have never done drugs, and I am not crazy as far as I know , but for the last few months, I have been noticing that I get very distinct tastes in my mouth when I hear certain music sounds. What could be causing this? Also, I can sometimes see different colors when I hear the music sounds.

Help!!! On period at a music festival?
So I'm sixteen and next month I'm going to a 5 day music festival. It's one of the ones when you camp in a field with thousands of other people. Super excited, but the only problem is I'm supposed to be on my period the entire time I'm there. Is there any way that I can mess around with mother nature so that I can enjoy the festival without having to worry about my period? Any suggestions would be great
Does music help to get one to think more clearly?
I have several tendencies and manic depression is probably one of them. My job is very technical and there have been days when I spend the whole day staring at the computer monitor like a zombee. Just now, I turned on some music and I seem to be producing something. I tend not to play music because I think it can be distracting. So does music help you to work?Perhaps in my case, there are times when I need to be distracted hehe I have heard that Mozart is " proved" to be effective in helping kids learn. I think it is called the " Mozart effect." A moment ago I was listening to pitbull ......
Head Spinning, could it be due to loud music?
Okay, so the other day I brought some new headphones from a store in the city centre before attending the Gym and getting utterly killed by my personal trainer this might be relevant so I'll explain I'm not used to going to the gym and working out really hard but my personal trainer seems to think that's just the thing I need. So he had me doing several workouts and on the first occasion got me to the point where I felt like I needed to throw up, assuming this was because I ate a subway earlier that day we cut the session short and continued the following week. This fell on a Monday which was the day I brought my headphones he had me doing different workouts that day but never the less pushed me as hard as he could, this time I not only felt like I was going to throw up but my hands started to vibrate, not tremble, vibrate. Like I was on a high difficulty level on the shock machine in the amusement arcades. Once again we cut the session short and as soon as I left and got some air I felt absolutely fine and decided to get out my new headphones. They had a very good sound so the following day I used them again on the way to work, during my break and on the way home on a fairly high volume so I could hear it over the engine on the bus. After arriving home I made myself a cup of coffee and settled down after a hard day at work. A few minutes later I leant back to speak to my brother whist sitting on my gamer chair. The room started to spin and it sort of went like this " woah, headrush.............................................................................Okay, so it's not head rush" . So this happened yesterday evening and I still haven't recovered, every time I puck something up off the floor the room starts to spin, or if I stand or suddenly breath out the same thing happens and this is also accompanied my a light but noticeable pressure in the centre of my head. I'm only worried because i've never had it before. But i considered that maybe it's because i've done something to the equilibrium in my ears but I'm just no certain. I'm currently trying to grab an appointment with my GP to get it checked out but with the balance of work and not getting an awkward appointment time makes things pretty difficult. So i was just hoping until then someone could give me a piece of mind. Thanks in advance for anyone's assistance Hi Steph. I thought it might be that, so last night I drank as much water as I could and drank plenty today. But I am still feeling rather light headed and dizzy. I also considered maybe a lack of food because I changed my diet slightly for the sake of my workout. You know, less junk food more lean meat and veg in my diet. Thanks for the support though Steph

Is loud music damaging to already damaged hearing?
. I have about 20db loss from " normal hearing" in my left ear. I like to equalize my music so its the same in both ears. I listen to about 70 % volume on iPhone. On my computer where I equalize it I pump it up to a similar volume on right ear no hearing loss and 15 20db louder on my left ear. Can I damage my hearing even further on my left ear even though its not extremely loud to me?I have natural hearing loss from my Neurofibromatosis unknown of type 1 or 2 but have no loss in right ear

I'm kinda worried as I never get nosebleeds, is there something up with me?Ps. The music was GOOD music played by a wonderful girl names Orla Gartland and it was at average volume.
