Why do I become sad when I hear procession sounds like drums & other musical instruments?
When I hear processions go by in the late evening, the sound of drums makes me very sad a sense of loss fills me, cant explain why This has been the case for the last 22 years or so. I am a 27 yr old Indian girl. The same music heard in the morning makes me want to dance.
Should you play musical instruments while you are sick with mono?
Obviously, I'm assuming that it wouldn't be a very good idea, but I have just been diagnosed last night with mono. I'm in high school, play oboe, and in two weeks am going to a college honors band that would be very hard to get out of, and I have a quartet piece that needs to be perfected in a month. So, I guess what I'm asking is, what are my options here? Any advice?

im 28 nowmale with skinny bony abnormally skinny framed body.When i was a kid i took piano..never a pinch of Carpal tunnel syndrome introduction did i h ave. Many kids take instruments or learn typing and nobody ever says that it can cause problems as yu age. now i have it bad but it would help if schools or whoever taught yu music or typing would explain it. My parents are non educated immigrants, and they dont type or play and dont have CTS so they cant even understand what i have.

I just found out that I have Carpal Tunnel, and have to wear a brace at night.I play different musical instruments such as guitar, bass, keyboard, and drums.I'm going to mainly focus on one instrument now that I'm dealing with this painin my wrists, and hands. Which instrument do you think would be the best choicefor someone with Carpal Tunnel? I just don't want it to get any worse.Thanks My singing voice is ok, but I'm definitely not a singer. I'm almost thinking guitar would be the best choice using lighter gauge strings?
