Reliable new year information
I've recently set myself the new years resolution of gaining more attractive, stronger arms. How can I?
All I have to use is my set of dumbells, and alot of strong motivation. No bench or seat or any gym equipment, and I wasn't fully sure if it was possible to gain my goal with just the dumbells. I'm 14, but I generally have a strong build, I'm not fat or grown out of proportion, and if I can get a good routine that would give me the desired results to follow maybe 5 days a week, I will pursue it. I've done endless independent research on it, checking videos, reading books, reading guides, but there's to be understood at once, I just want a straight fowarded answer. A detailed, covering all of my points answer would be highly appreciated. Thanks
Finally going through with my new years resolution?
On February 15 I finally went through with my new years resolution to eat healthy at every single meal. Yay haha I get fruits, veggies and lean protein every day and zero junk food. I only drink water. I also eat kashi fiber cereal in the mornings now. However, I've noticed I'll go " number 2" 4 times a day. I used to go once a day or every other day. I know that was unhealthy but is it okay that I'm going so much now?I don't know if this makes a difference but I used to eat once a day but now I eat 3 meals a day. Which might explain why I'm going so much more now.Thanks for the response I'm actually not trying to lose weight. I'm 23, 115 lbs and 5'5" I jut had a really really crappy diet and it's time to eat healthy.
My new years resolution...I need some advice?
I have decided that my new years resolution is to lose weight. I am 210 pounds, but I honestly dont look like it, if that makes any sense And I am, starting now, no longer drinking pop, or sugar y products. I know it will not be hard to do that because I have done it before. Then I am going to work out everyday probably sometime in the morning, after supper, and beofre I go to bed and I am going to try and eat healthy which may be harder to do I will eat breakfast a slice of toast, and a glass of water and since I am in school I cantreally eat during school so im not to sure what to do then, but for supper, I will try and eat veggies or something... Would this be a believable plan? Should I make any changes? Please help me out I have never done this before
I have a drug test on January 25th. I was clean for 25 days, took 1 hit for new years. Will I be clean?
Im 5'11 140lbs skinny I was a chronic smoker before my 25 days clean.
How to lose weight in the new year?
I know everyone says this, but I would really like to lose weight in this new year...I signed up for a gym membership and I have began to work out....my problem is deciding what foods I can eat make that would help me lose weight and that would be healthy for me.....I would like easy to make meal ideas for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and any snacks I could eat that would be healthy?? Also how many days should a person work out during the week? Thanks
How am i doing on my new year's diet?
So I am on a diet to get from 215 pounds to 190 195 pound range for the new year, so far I am down to 208 pounds. I was wondering if I am eating and exercising right, my normal daily diet consists of Meal 1 yoplait light yogurt 100 calories Meal 2 Banana 100 calories Meal 3 A turkey and cheese sandwich 300calories Meal 4 vegetables and a little fat free ranch 100 calories Meal 5 Dinner varies by the night, always under 750 caloriesMeal 6 real fruit smoothie, made myself with light yogurt 250 calories I have cut my calories from 2800 to about 1800 calories a day.In addition I am either running 1.5 miles a day OR walking 2.5 3 miles a day.Is this a good diet and exericse routine or should I do something different?
I know its a little belated. but i plan on drinking more water as my new years resolution?
so i plan to drink more water. my reason for doing this? well 1, i never ever really drink water i love water, i just dont find myself drinking it . 2, i here that drinking water regularly promotes healthy skin i know its not like a " cure all" or anything , but supposedly it cuts downn the likelyness of black heads and white heads, and gives you more vibarant skin because it is staying moisturized CORRECT ME IF IM WRONG . and 3, its just plain ol good for your pee or bladder, or system, body, whatever... it keeps you regular i guess . and its great to fill your tummy if youre a graizer in the kitchen like i. seriously if it werent for my metabolism, id be in the guiness book of world records for heaviest person on plant earth and to ever be saught after in the enire galaxy. you got me so far? so thats why i want to drink more water. you may veiw this as pointless in yahoo > answers, but i want to know what you think and if you have anything to educate me more about what great things water does for you . im not a moron, i know water is the basis of all life... as well as the atom. so yes there you go. water, water, water... and more waaaaateeeer no gatoraaaaaade but more H2O
Help, new year, week change, birth control pills?
Usually I take my last pill on a Sunday, but apparently today is my last one, I've never missed one so it's not that, I was wondering if it's because of the new year and the week being a day different?Btw I'm on levest, it's the same hormone balance as microgynon 30Okay I'm not being clear no I'm not wondering if I'm pregnant basicallyI take the pills blah blah blah my last pill is always on a Sunday, then stop taking them for a week, period comes around Thursday, Start taking them the following Monday, then the whole cycle again rah rah, last pill on Sunday and so on, and it's been like this since I started taking them last March. Last one always on a Sunday.But according to this packet, my last one to take is today a Saturday And I'm confused, is that because it's a new year, and the days change around, as in, last year the 27th January was a Thursday and this year is a Friday? Is that why my last one is today?

How realistic is this New Year's Resolution?
One of my New Year's Resolutions is to get in better shape by doing sit ups and push ups. I plan on doing 10 of each every day for January, 20 for February, 30 for March, and 40 of each every day after for the rest of the year. My goal is to gain some muscle in the process.Now for some background on me. I'm a male teenager, I'm a healthy weight not over or under weight but I don't particularly have muscles, hence why I would like to make this resolution. I have a healthy diet and have a 30 minute walk home from school every day.How realistic is this resolution adding 10 of each with each passing month, capping at 40? in terms of getting in better shape? what results can I see in 3 months? 6? A year?I'd appreciate a at least somewhat thorough answer.Thanks
New Year's Resolution: How to eat healthy?
I'm an athlete. Well, maybe not an athlete on a team, but I work out a lot. I'm finding that what I've been eating doesn't make me feel full nor satisfied. I tried to eat diet portions of food but I still feel hungry for hours after. What can I eat that will make me feel full but not gain the weight that I'm keeping off? By the way, I'm 20, if that counts for anything?I'm making a supermarket run today, so any place you guys specifically recommend? There's a Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, and Kroger near me. Looking forward to hearing your advice
New Year's Resolution: Getting into shape.?
I need some practical suggestions and techniques to help me get into shape. Losing fat and building muscle. Every day I want to spend some time doing exercises to will help me lose belly fat. Should I do strecthing, then krunchies, push ups, sit ups. Which ones? For how long or how many times? I know running will help a lot but what would be good for me to start simple and then work my way up.Also, I'm starting to weight lift. The nearest facility to me has a limit number of exercises.There's one where I sit and pull a bar over my head down to me.There's one where I hold onto handles and push outward chest press i think There's one where I hold onto two sides and pull my arms together in front of me.What sets reps should I perform for each of these?Also, there's dumbells. What exercises should I use for those? I only know of a few and would like input from others. Even direct me to some websites. Thanks.
Swimming in the New Year, What to do while on period?
I'm 14 turning 15 and I've been having my period for 2 years. I've only just started trying to use tampons and it isn't working out so far, but until I can, I know I will be swimming with school. I haven't started school yet but I know my PE teacher will be female teacher who gets angry if you use your period as a reason why you can't go swimming or a male. I just need some advice on what I should do when the time comes that we are swimming when I have my periodPS. I live in Australia and you can only buy tampons without applicators or pads herethank you in advance
My mom hasn't had any brain activity since New Years?
She's currently in the hospital, but on machines that help her breath, but she hasn't had any brain activity for four days. The doctors said she shouldn't been responsive already.
