Hi i am 45 years old i have a serious medical problem called Thoracic outlet syndrome i need help?
Hi my name is Ramya, I stay in Coimbatore I am 45 years old I am a teacher by profession i have this medical problem called Thoracic outlet syndrome it has worsen ever since 4 years, I have consulted so many doctor's in Bangalore and Chennai but they have a problem trying to diagnose so the doctors advice is to keep taking pain killers as and when the pain arises so I end up taking 4 5 tablets a day for my pain and every time i consult a doctor they ask a fresh MRI scan and X ray to be taken I have ended up spent so much only on these things and finally they say nothing is wrong since it is not a common disease so may be they have less clinical experience My request here is can you guide me to a experienced Cardiovascular surgeon who knows about this disease in Coimbatore where i can be treated and may be under go surgery if needed My next question approximately is how much does the surgery for Thoracic outlet syndrome cost please help

I was unplugging my laptop battery and I felt a little shock. It doesn't hurt or anyhting right now. But I'm wondering if it could've had some sort of negative effect on my body. I know this sounds absolutely ridiculous but it wont effect my growth will it? Hah I freak out over the smallest things.....

Looking for a creative outlet?? ")?
Hi there, I know this may sound a little self indulgent and all but I would generally appreciate some advice I feel like quite a creative person.. can't really explain why, just a kind of feeling I guess. The trouble is, I don't know how to do it. When I feel I've expressed myself I kind of feel more alive so I'd love to develop some kind of outlet for that. Here's the problem I love learning languages. Love it. The idea of sitting down for hours to learn grammar actually excites me as does having the smallest conversation in a new language. But it's not really creative I suppose.As I love languages, I SHOULD love literature, but I often find it boring. It's the spoken language I love. I have one or two writers or poets who really move me.. but I find most boring. I kind of like deep, philosophical stuff.. but I just get bored with a lot of narratives. I figured to be a writer you need to be a reader, and as I said, it's kind of exceptions for me, rather that the rule. I wish it were otherwise sometimes, but it's not I love working outdoors, on farms and working with plants it's fun and I feel at home, but again, not really creative.Music I used to LOVE music, and I got a scholarship to a music school as a child, but I lost a lot of confidence as I came under some pretty heaving criticism there and it kind of killed my passion rather that nurtured it. Plus, I'm the kind of alternative type Classical music, though I love listening to it, seems a bit.. I don't know.. high brow.. not really me. Well, at least the culture associated with it. I would love to get into folk, but I don't know how I'd do that either playing or listening tbh... Plus, I'm really shy and I don't like performing kind of kills the enjoyment for me..Art I like working with my hands, hence the farm, but I don't find art really expressive for me. It's nice, don't get me wrong, but I could never break down crying in front of a painting. I love colour, but find most art exhibitions boring tbh. I like the idea of wheel pottery but it doesn't really express anything really... Photography I could get quite excited about though. Would love to get involved in that Perhaps I'm missing that point of what a creative outlet is, but I would be really grateful for any advice. Thanks a lot "

I got zapped by an outlet lat night why is my arm is still sore today?
The socket is hanging down from the wall, in our rented trailer, and last night i pushed it back in the wall cuz a breeze was coming in and it shocked me, from my hand up to my shoulder. I didn't touch inside of the socket, I was careful to only touch the outside of the socket. My arm is still sore now, how long does it take to heal and is there anything I can do to help?

Thoracic Outlet Syndrome doctors - PLEASE HELP?!?!?
For several years I have undergone many tests and suffered from pain and circulation loss in my arm. I was finally diagnosed with Thoracic Outlet Syndrome. My specialist informed me that very few doctors treat this because of the rarity and complexity. He told me that of the few treating doctors, one of them was located in Dallas, which was of great benefit for me since I live in Texas. I just received word today that the Dallas doctor won't see me because he doesn't accept Medicaid Medicare. I have been on disability for many years, now, partly because of this condition. I am only 33 years old and am a single mother. I desperately need this condition fixed and am extremely upset that I might have to live with it. If anyone can help me with a doctor who treats this condition and will work with my insurance financial situation, PLEASE let me know. Thank you very much.
