I am software engineer and my office time is 8 hrs. My problem is that my office is 35 km from my house.?
so I travel in Train and then in bus to reach office and it takes 4 and half hr a day in traveling. so I cant take full sleep, i can take just 7 hrs and feel mental and physical tiredness...I cant change this office as i am in bond. Lots of Noise in bus and pollution makes me tired. And Car or Bike is not option for me also.

i guess if you have adhd, and hold a management postion for long time, you know exactly what I mean. and have learned the skills? i work in the software industry am very successful as individual contributor, eventually I've always come up for a promotion to lead or manager, and in fact my managers typically prefer me to manage, and I knew I would have issues. I typically agree to the change then I fail miserably with the new responsibities and duties of a manager. mangement books seem to not help me at all. they may be geared to people who already are manament material. I suppose it takes a while to learn the management ropes, and perhaps that is what I'm lacking in, the staying power and the leadership qualities, being tough minded, knowing how to deal with emotional issues as well as deadlines and many different forces.any good tips and books for adhd'ers that i can rely on that really work to help me break through to the next leadership step? it seems with my age, 51 and background, I am likely to only land job opportuinites as hands on technical, with managerial experience. Not just a technical hands contributor on any longer.... If adhd symptom is not being able to function, and manage one's own activites, how can i be expected to mange other poeple's activites, as well as my own. Should I just give up the management track, narrow my focus and apply only to individual contributor? and give up lucrative, but perhaps unrewarding leadership positions? any help here those who have been through the scenrios?

I have a Garmin Forerunner GPS and it's great, but I REALLY miss the goals and challenges that Nike offered. Does anyone know of a good online fitness tool that does goals challenges achievements, preferably that accepts Garmin data, but even if it doesn't, that's cool. I'd be ever so grateful

"wizard" / software: Input psychiatric symptoms, output likely diagnosis / disorder?
I know your main intinct may be to simply recommend against the use of any overly " robotic" diagnosis tool like this. although, I've seen psychiatrists who are just as bad as this, asking 100 very impersonal questions in a very impersonal way, typing in an obvious software program the whole time, then announcing mild bipolar and prescribing a med at the end But, please just answer the question if possiblle.Is there any free online place website software, where a person can effectively plug in various symptoms, the wizard narrowing down its questions the whole time, and the output is a likely diagnosis s ??I do really appreciate your answer. I should clarify, what I am more looking for I have seen the depression inventory before is something to help you figure out how serious it might be, certain indicators of compulsive or unusual behavior. To spot things other than depression, like partly repressed sociopathy or some kind or another to plug in behaviorial symptoms that are compulsive or unusual and get to some conclusion.
